Your Role

We at Verkservice in Malmberget are now looking for an operations operator for our team in Screening/Concentration. Here, a varied job awaits you in our surface facilities. As an operations operator, you will work with charging (i.e., filling ore bodies in our mills) in the concentration plant and perform cleaning tasks to alleviate disruptions in production, primarily in inbound and outbound transport. Cleaning tasks are mainly performed through shoveling and flushing but also to some extent Bob-Cat driving. You will also work on preventive measures aimed at, for example, reducing spillage issues. Other tasks beyond what is mentioned above may occur.

What You Bring

As a person, you should have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, as you will be part of a team consisting of four other operations operators. At the same time, you should be able to plan, work independently, and take your own initiatives based on different situations that arise. You will have recurring contacts with other employees in the processing plants, so we see that relationship-building ability is an advantage.

In addition to this, you have:

• Approved final grades from high school or equivalent
• A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience driving forklifts and Bob-Cat is a merit
• Experience from work in processing plants and knowledge of our processes is a merit
